What Is llms.txt and Does My Business Need One?
llms.txt is a proposed convention: a plain-text (Markdown) file at yoursite.com/llms.txt that summarizes your site for large language models and points to your most important pages.
Does it work?
It is a proposal, not an official standard, and AI companies have not broadly confirmed that they use it. Treat it as a cheap, low-risk extra, not a priority over schema markup, a complete Google Business Profile and clear service pages.
